Designed and configured a multi-department enterprise topology using Cisco Packet Tracer. Implemented VLAN segmentations, Inter-VLAN routing, OSPF dynamic routing, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) for strict subnet filtering.

Hardened Linux Server Deployment

Deployed a secure Ubuntu Server hosting Nginx web services. Configured SSH key-based authentication, disabled root logins, configured UFW firewall rules, and implemented Fail2ban to mitigate brute-force SSH attacks.

Network Intrusion Detection & Analysis

Setup Snort IDS on a Linux virtual gateway to monitor real-time network traffic. Captured PCAP files using Wireshark, performed packet analysis for malicious signatures, and created custom rules to trigger security alerts.
